EIDAP ANIMAL REGISTRY OR E.A.R. THIS IS A CLOUD DATABASE THAT ALLOWS US TO ACCESS
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR RECOVERY SERVICES. WE ARE NOT AN OWNERSHIP
COMPANY. INFORMATION SUBMITTED AND REGISTERED IN E.A.R. DOES NOT PROVE
OWNERSHIP, BUT RATHER, REGISTRATION OF THE IMPLANTED MICROCHIP.
Information Collection – Why We Collect Personal Information
Collecting personal information about you is an essential part of our animal recovery services.
The personal information we collect may come directly from you, by registering with EIDAP, or
through a third-party such as a veterinary hospital, shelter, rescue, SPCA, breeder, or humane
society. Personal Information will only be collected by EIDAP Inc. for the purposes that were
identified at the time of collection. We will not disclose your personal information to any thirdparty
for any purpose except what is described in this Privacy Policy.
At the time of registration, we require some information that may include:
• Your username, password and email address when you register for an EIDAP account
• Full Name(s), Address, Phone Number(s)
• Animal Information
• Veterinary Information
• Animal Medical Alert / Condition
• Alternate Contact
• Breeder / Rescue Information
• A Digital Photo of the Animal
Use of Information – How We Use Your Personal Information
EIDAP Inc. may access the personal information collected in E.A.R. to assist in animal recovery.
When you have your animal microchipped, the personal information submitted to EIDAP is
used to identify you and contact you, to reunite you with your lost animal. EIDAP reserves the
right to access this information, as required, strictly for recovery services. We strongly
recommend that you make sure this information is up to date and relevant at all times.
Some specific examples of how we use your personal information include:
• To facilitate recovery of lost animals with their owners
• To offer an accessible database for retrieving information by owners, breeders,
veterinary professionals, rescues, shelters, SPCA’s and humane societies
• Create and administer your account
• Respond to customer requests, inquiries, comments or concerns
• Notify you about any changes or updates to EIDAP or our Services
• Analyze data, information and feedback to continually improve upon our services
and/or your experience with EIDAP

By submitting personal information to EIDAP Inc. directly or any licensed animal professional
facility which may include veterinarians, shelter, rescue, SPCA, breeder, or humane societies,
you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. Your consent
allows us to deal with your personal information in a reasonable manner, to facilitate the
recovery of lost animals with their owners. Personal information shall be retained only as long
as necessary for the fulfillment of these purposes.
Information Sharing
Information about our customers is an integral part of our business. We are not in the business
of selling our customers personal information to others. When personal information is
uploaded into E.A.R., this information is kept secure and confidential, and only accessed if we
need to connect a lost animal with the person registered to the microchip. By registering your
animal with EIDAP, you give us authority to disclose your personal information to any licensed
animal professional facility which may include veterinarians, shelter, rescue, SPCA, breeder, or
humane societies who have scanned your pet’s microchip and have access to our Services. We
share your information with these third-party service providers that we work with to assist in
reuniting lost animals with their owners.
Keeping Information Accurate
EIDAP Inc. will ensure that the personal information it collects is accurate, complete and up to
date as possible based on the information provided to us by you or by any third-party. We rely
on you to keep us informed of any changes to your personal information. Having accurate
information about you enables us to give you the best possible service. You have the right to
access, verify and amend any of this information, free of charge, at any time, by contacting
EIDAP directly or by logging in to your online account.
